As I mentioned a little while back in Episode 208 - Kiss From Heaven - I got this recipe book for a Christmas present. Mulligan’s Bar Guide – 1001 Martinis. 1001 Martinis? Hmmm. How far is too far when it comes to reimagining the Martini? At what point does a Martini stop being a Martini? Just because it’s served in a Martini glass doesn’t necessarily make it a martini. So I thought we could flip through it and make a few of these alleged Martinis as a little mini series.
So let's begin this quest. Since we made the Kiss From Heaven Martini, let's try the Devil's Tail and see if we really should be calling it a Martini.

DEVIL'S TAIL MARTINI
--------------------
IN A SHAKER COMBINE:
1½oz (45ml) - AMBER RUM
½oz (15ml) - APRICOT BRANDY
½oz (15ml) - LIME JUICE
DASH OF GRENADINE
-SHAKE INGREDIENTS WITH ICE .
-FINE STRAIN INTO A CHILLED MARTINI GLASS.
-(OPTIONAL) TOSS IN A HOT PEPPER.
