LA County deputies helped save the lives of several inmates after they collapsed from an opioid overdose. Nurse Jose Lopez helped the deputies administer CPR on four inmates until paramedics arrived.
Investigators say an inmate smuggled fentanyl into the Inmate Reception Center last week – thinking it was meth. All of the inmates survived.
