The easiest way to take long exposure
The Live Photos feature on your iPhone camera is a very accessible option for taking long exposure photos.
You don’t need to mess with the exposure settings on your iPhone or buy a third party app to make long exposure photos. All you need is already on your device.
Long exposure photo on an iPhone - How does it work
The most important thing to remember, if you’re into long exposure photography, is that you need to use the Live Photo feature from your iPhone’s camera app.
So make sure Live Photos is on - you should see a button with multiple circles on the upper right corner. If there is a line on top of the circles, then Live Photos feature is disable.
With Live Photos on, take a picture with something moving, like a body of water, a waterfall or something.
Now go to Photos and open your new photo. On top left of that photo you will notice a label that says LIVE.
Tap it. A menu will open. You need to choose Long Exposure from that menu.
After a few seconds, your long exposure photo will be ready.
