Hey, it's Matt here with a super quick tutorial on how to add a song to a playlist in Spotify. In a previous video, I showed you guys an awesome playlist I created, and today, I'm gonna walk you through how to add more tunes to it.
So, imagine you're jamming to someone else's playlist on Spotify and stumble upon a track you absolutely love. Let's say it's a Wilco song.
What you'll want to do is look for these three little dots next to the song title. That's the universal symbol for "more options." Give that a click.
Once you've clicked, you'll see an option that says "Add to playlist." You can either add the song to an existing playlist or create a new one right from this menu. But for today, we're focusing on adding it to our awesome playlist.
So, you click on that playlist, and voilà, it's added. You'll see a little tick mark confirming the song's been added to your playlist.
If we hop over to the awesome playlist I mentioned earlier, you'll see the Wilco track, "Company in My Back," sitting pretty in the list. It's that easy to keep building your perfect playlist.
I've shown you how to do this on Spotify's desktop version, but don't worry, the process is pretty much the same on mobile. The layout might be slightly different, but the steps remain unchanged.
So, no matter where you find a song you love on the platform, you can add it to your playlists in just a few clicks. I hope this tutorial helps you make the most out of your Spotify experience, letting you curate your playlists with all your favorite tracks.
