This video covers several tasks that can help make your web experience on Chrome better. There are several tools and settings within Chrome that allow us to become more productive with our time and better equipped for our reading and research.
I start with a few set up tips:
-How to launch specific websites automatically in Chrome and
-How to search settings to customize your web experience
Then we follow with tips that can help your web reading flow more smoothly:
-How to use the search function for websites to scan all plaint text for certain words or phrases
-How to open new tabs directly from the omnibox and
-How to quickly copy phrases from a webpage to create a new tab
These tips allow me to let my reading and research flow when I am on the web. My learning can be sequential and can have the possibility of self discovery. I am able and free to explore ideas I find, while maintaining my place in other tabs.
Using these tricks can help you become more productive and better informed when on the web.
