As I was eighteen, I stood in line for a drink. The music was really good, and I fangirled really hard when My Chemical Romance were on the main stage, literally.
"Sophie." A voice said behind me, making me snap my head and turn around.
Harry was standing in the queue behind me.
"You're 17." I scoffed. "You won't get anything."
"I will. It's a festival." He shrugged casually.
"You won't!" I protested, turning away from him.
"Watch then. Can I go where you are?" He asked.
"No!" I cried out.
"Just to show you." He shrugged.
"Fine." I mumbled. "You won't be served."
He smirked as we swapped places, and reached the counter. He said a few words to the man serving, and he instantly got him what he wanted.
I stood, gaping, shocked.
"Close your mouth love, there's a load of flies and stuff around here." He smirked as he passed, sipping from the alcohol he had just bought.
I shook my head and stepped forward, ordering my drinks.
It was now late, and we'd left to go to the tents. Today's wasn't the best lineup, well, for everyone but me. Friday's always the best day, maybe tomorrow and Sunday would be better, but I doubt that.
"Have you seen my torch?" Zayn mumbled, half drunk.
"Nope." I replied, dragging my heavy feet toward the tent we were staying in.
There was the sound of violent vomiting in the bush nearby, it was unpleasant.
"Where's Chloe?" I asked.
"In there." Liam replied, nodding at the direction of the bush.
"What?!" Niall cried, and instantly rushed over to it.
"Lovely." I mumbled, running my fingers through my ratty hair and continuing my trek.
"Are you guys tired?" Louis asked, sounding wide awake.
"Yes." Everyone replied in unison.
"Seriously? Oh wow you're boring. How about you Hazza" He grinned, nudging his best friend in the ribs.
"Fucking shattered." He mumbled, rubbing his eyes.
"And are you drunk?" Louis questioned.
Harry let out a groan, something I was sure wasn't human.
"How did you get served?" Zayn asked.
Harry smirked. "I just did. It's a festival, they aren't going to care. I look older than 17 anyway." He shrugged.
I scoffed. "No, you look about twelve." I joked.
"Yep, thanks for that." He replied, rolling his eyes.
"You're welcome." I grinned, sticking out my tongue as we continued walking.
Chloe and Niall returned soon after, Chloe claiming she'd drank too much, and would never let herself get that wasted again.
"Leave me alone Lou." I mumbled, as I heard the zip of the tent go up, and someone crouch down beside me.
"How did you know it was me?!" He cried.
"I just do." I replied, opening one eye up.
He looked around a few times, before laying down next to me. "Did you mean what you said earlier?" He asked.
"What did I say earlier?" I mumbled, the drunken and tired side taking over me.
"Err." He paused, and I opened my eyes to find him blushing.
"What did I say?" I questioned, worried if I'd said something embarrassing. Oh god.
"That... That you loved me." He choked out.
I felt my stomach flip, in a good way. "Did you?" I whispered.
He bit his lip, and nodded his head. "Of course I did."
I smiled, wide. "Good." I replied.
He shot me a confused look.
"Because I meant it too. I really did."
