Regardless of your reasons, the consequences will be the same 😓
Coming into this time of year, there are many reasons to stop exercising or to delay your start to exercise. Whether it be:
👉 A busy time with the kids,
👉 A busy time at work,
👉 A busy time socially,
👉 Or you might be working through some personal challenges...
All of these are great justifications I see people use to NOT prioritize their health.
But as we all know, a 1-month delay turns into 3, 3 turns into 6, 6 months turn into a year, a year turns into never 😢
Is delaying your health worth 👇
❌ 38% reduction in sleep quality,
❌ Increased risk of osteoporosis and arthritis,
❌ 33% increased risk of injury,
❌ Increased challenges with depression, anxiety, and other forms of mental illness,
❌ Faster aging,
❌ Increased risk of developing Alzheimer's or dementia,
❌ 30-35% increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes,
❌ Doubles the risk of developing heart disease or having a stroke.
You don't need the best exercise plan, you don't need to see a nutritionist to eat less junk - You just need to start ✅
✅ Eat a little better,
✅ Move a little more,
✅ Get in 1 resistance training session a week,
Remember perfection is the enemy of progress.
