DIY welding | GETTING STARTED
Cut the most important part, then you have to weld it back together! Learning to weld takes time behind a stick but if you are not prepared behind a stick, then learning to weld will take a toll on your motivation. Being prepared for the job is just a big part of welding. Getting the metal surfaces clean and ready for new metal is the other.
In this episode, I have started one of the many 'farm jobs' that requires my time. The gyro mower needs some bodywork while her gearbox is being serviced. I decided to use this opportunity to take you through the steps of how to get started welding your own projects. Sometimes it is best to just jump into the deep end and learn to swim.
