My DIY wire tying TOOL | HOW TO
In this video, I set out to make a quick DIY wire trying tool as a gift for a friend of mine and I wanted to have a HOW TO video that would show him how to use it. I have cleaned up and organized my workshop (and dirtied it again) which has made it easier to do some quick little projects. I recently bought a small MIG welder and have been looking for any excuse to play with it and I have found it a lot of fun to make these simple tools. I have made a few for friends already and each time I do it a little bit differently.
I have a special kind of hatred for hose clamps that are used in joining sections of low-density polyethylene pipe. They are expensive, they don't always work, and you never have enough of them. I have known that there are ways of tying wire to achieve a bind that will outperform the hose clamp but I always thought I needed a specialized tool for the job until I saw a video by #AdvokoMAKES called "The clamper | Old tool reborn". I decided I needed a tool like his with half the fuss because at the end of the day it must be functional.
In this video I go through the process of fabrication and at the end I detail how to use it.

I made this video using the GoPro Quik App and my phone as part of getting momentum for my new season. I will be getting stuck into creating some more in-depth videos on my channel and I am looking at ways to streamline my workflows.
