Set up Project Server Account in Desktop Client - MS Project
Project Server (Project Web App / Project Online) allows you to link across Projects, use Enterprise Resources and Enterprise Fields. Once the Server is set up by your admin/IT you can program your Desktop Client MS Project to link to the Server to allow you to edit files on the Server using the client instead of the web.
