What is corrected with a Lasik 100% laser surgery?
The operation FemtoLasik is used for the correction of myopia, hyperopia and / or astigmatism. This 100% laser technique is realized through an advanced femtosecond laser technology with more than 4.5 million procedures performed nowadays worldwide that has revolutionized the correction of these refractive defects.
How is an operation of myopia, hyperopia and / or Lasik astigmatism?
In general, Lasik, laser keratomileusis in situ, is the technique for laser surgery of the most reliable and recognized eye worldwide for the correction of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism or the combination of myopia or hyperopia with astigmatism.

Why are not all Lasik surgeries the same?

At what age should be operated on refractive surgery?
It depends on the type of refraction. The usual thing is that the intervention can be performed when the eye stops growing and therefore refractive surgery is more stable. For example, patients with myopia are not operated before the age of 20. In farsightedness it is better to wait a few more years, since in young patients the chances of regression are higher. As for astigmatism depends on whether they are associated with myopia or hyperopia, something that is assessed in the first preoperative consultation.
What side effects does Lasik surgery have for myopia, hyperopia and / or 100% laser astigmatism?
A laser refractive surgery operation usually has no side effects and the total recovery occurs within a maximum period of 48 hours. However, it is still an ambulatory operation, so it will be necessary to follow the ophthalmologist's recommendations to avoid any temporary side effects.
