This bird is native to the Americas, and its name comes from the humming sound its wings make when in flight. There are over 300 species of hummingbirds; their size ranges from 5cm to 23cm, and they weigh around 2 grams to 20 grams. The bee hummingbird is the world’s smallest bird; it weighs less than 2 grams and also has the smallest bird eggs in the world.
