Cutchall's dates to William O. Cutchall's 1927 opening of a downtown men's fine clothing store at 103 N. Robinson (Hales Building) where it operated for 38-40 years. In 1964, three Cutchall's locations existed — in the Hales Building and in the respective Penn Square and Shephard malls. A nephew of the originator, Dean B. Cutchall, continued operations until 1988 when the operations closed. But, in 1989, Brint W. Cutchall, a grandson of the originator, opened a 2,700 square foot shop in the Midland Center (Dowell Center today) which later moved to the 1 National Bank arcade and st lasted for 5 years. But, in 1998, he closed that operation and opened a new Cutchall's in North Penn Plaza, immediately west of Penn Square Mall, but that came to an end in the same year as its opening. As far as I'm aware, Cutchall's no longer exists in Oklahoma City.
