Sony BVM 20F1 Recap and Upgrade AKA Sony BVM 20F1U
The BVM 20F1 is one of Sony’s best engineered and strongest performing CRT’s. However, it cannot escape the effects of old Father Time, and issues started creeping in. Information online was spotty as to how certain issues could be resolved, so I documented my journey in restoring this monitor to squeeze out the absolute best 240p scanlines I’ve ever seen.
