CPU Performance Test: DSP vs ARM
The following is a performance test between the DSP and ARM processors using a Copley XTL CANopen drive. The DSP based drives are now obsolete and are replaced with ARM based versions. The XTL ARM in this demonstration was 27.49 times faster than its DSP based counterpart.
