Deluxe Euro-sleaze. Overdubbed paper bag acting and an Alexandre Dumas novel drained of all life. It's maddening how technically well made this movie is when the human element is complete nonsense. As a curio of late '60s costume, morals, and mod design, along with Piero Piccioni's fabulously groovy score: quite an artifact.
