Large Slab Built Vessels
Making with larger pieces of clay is an enjoyable challenge. The process is much the same as when making smaller pieces except a few props are needed and a bit of thought about the process before going ahead. The form of the piece I am demonstrating in this video is more challenging because of the rounder shaped base.
I am using Earthstone Smooth Textured Crank which is covered with a slip made from Earthstone Handbuilding Material.
