Octatrack: Basics #1 - Important Button Combos
even experienced users miss certain features or need a refresher course on the basics, these are two button combos I use very frequently while working with the Octatrack. The first button combination is for going directly to the waveform display of the default audio file loaded to static or flex machines, this button combo is achieved by pressing the TRACK button combined with the BANK/EDIT button. The other button combo I find super important is the one for triggering real-time sampling. This combo is a little more nuanced, depending on which source you want to sample from you will press either RECORD AB, RECORD CD, or MIDI/part (which represents the internal re-sampling source) after pressing and holding the TRACK button
