this performance heavily leans on live re-sampling to produce counterpoint and variation in response to performance gestures. The main playback channel for the re-sampling buffer is un-muted at 0:42 - this re-sampling buffer is fed by the cue bus, giving me the ability to choose different audio streams or submixes to re-sample, which I utilize to shape the longer-term direction of the arrangement. In the final major section of the piece, starting at 5:42, a greater density of performance techniques and variations in their timing is utilized to bring the material into a new context and draw more nuances and variety from the live re-sampling approach
