After working the MASSART fashion show in Boston, I head back to my off-grid cabin in the remote woods of Western Maine — ready for rest, creative inspiration, and some peace. But instead… I find mouse droppings all over my bed. 🐭😅
This vlog follows a raw, honest day in my life:
cleaning up a rodent mess in my Davis Tent cabin 🏕️
hiking with my Norwegian Elkhound, Vibeke 🐺
enjoying a warm spring day in the Maine wilderness 🌞
and finally getting to unwind by practicing spinning fans & working on a very special crow feather headdress — designed to match a corset I created as part of my fashion design coursework at Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MASSART).
This feather piece (ethically sourced from a crow I hunted years ago) will later be featured in Boston Fashion Week — but here, I show you the intimate first steps of bringing it to life.
💫 My fashion brand, MOONFAEZ Designs, is all about powerful storytelling, ancient femininity, and the wild magic of the natural world. I create wearable art — from corsets to performance pieces — and share behind-the-scenes looks at my design process right here, often from my canvas tent studio in the woods.
