Solo Adventure at Big Falls | Fly Fishing and Sketching in Western Maine
Join me on my solo adventure as I spend three weeks in solitude at my off-grid camp in the beautiful wilderness of western Maine. In this episode, I set out to fly fish at the secret Big Falls on the Cupsuptic River, but after arriving, I discover that the river is too high due to the spring snowmelt. Instead of fishing, I take you on a peaceful tour of this mystical waterfall, sharing a bit of the rich history of the area.
Later, I relax on the river rocks with my Norwegian Elkhound and spend the afternoon drawing in my sketchbook, soaking in the beauty of the spring sun. As the clouds roll in, we head back to my cozy Davis Tent cabin tent (a canvas wall tent) where I finish the sketching session in a soothing ASMR style.
