Escaping Society to Live in a Canvas Cabin Tent | Big Woods of Maine Adventure
In this video, I take you on a journey to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life and embrace the serene beauty of rural Maine. After burning out from running my own company and attending fashion design school in Boston, I decided to head to the Big Woods of Maine to reset. I pack up my car with everything I need and hit the road as a solo female adventurer, navigating treacherous, muddy paths while spotting local wildlife like moose and whitetail deer along the way.
Arriving at my remote lakefront property, where my dad and I are building a log cabin, I wake up to a stunning foggy morning surrounded by birds and the peaceful forest. After getting settled in my canvas cabin tent, my dog Vibeke (a Norwegian Elkhound) and I head out on an adventure—learning to fly my new DJI Mini 3 Pro drone and testing out the waters for some fly fishing.
Unfortunately, the recent snowmelt has caused the lake's water levels to rise, flooding my planned fishing spots. But that doesn’t stop me! I push through the setbacks, exploring new locations and using my drone to capture the breathtaking landscapes. Though I postpone the fishing for another day, I’m excited to learn and grow with my new drone, enhancing my filmmaking skills for future.
