Exclusive Interview With Ursula Hurn
OMG I am so excited to share this with you!!
I have just had my first article published in Brainz Magazine!! It's an online magazine which is published out of Stockholm in Sweden and focusses on "exclusive interviews, articles and information on entrepreneurship, personal development, leadership and lifestyle".
I'll be publishing 12 articles per year, this Exclusive Interview being the first one.
If you had told me when I was younger that I would be writing articles for an international magazine I would have laughed at you…I struggled to write essays at school and at the time I really hated them!! Having to write essays was my worst nightmare, particularly during exams!
I have figured out why that was the case though…it was a combination of inexperience and being told l had to write an essay about something I either had no interest in or I knew nothing about! Not rocket science to figure that one out!
Being able to write well and in a style which is easy to read really helps with many things.
I have found the ability to write work-related emails in such a way that the recipient actually understands what you are asking or suggestions you are making, eliminates a lot of time-wasting and confusion.
Bullet pointing emails and asking one question at a time, rather than stringing three or four together, also cuts down on confusion and allows the reader to reply to each point individually—just another piece of the digital organizational puzzle.
Being able to write informative yet entertaining captions for social media posts is also invaluable, as your followers look forward to your writings or musings, whichever you are choosing to deliver to them.
