Chrome Tips - Changing Download Settings
All browsers are set by default to save anything you download from the Internet into your Downloads folder, wherever that may be located.
On one hand it's useful to know that everything goes into the same folder BUT it wastes time because 9 times out of 10 you have to move the file to somewhere else!
By changing some settings in your browser, you are able to select the folder where you want to save what you're downloading. This cuts out the unnecessary steps of having to locate the Downloads folder, renaming the file and moving it to wherever it is you need to use it from.
This is particularly true of downloading images from your designs in Canva because you need to either download each page individually if you're creating a carousel, or you have to download a zip file. You then have unzip it and rename each image otherwise they're just labelled Page 1.jpg or png, Page 2.???, Page3.??? etc., which isn't helpful when you want to know what the file is for, just by looking at the file name.
These settings are easy to change in any and all browsers but here I've shown you how to change the settings in Chrome.
