Annual planning can be such a bind BUT as was said by both Benjamin Franklin and Winston Churchill: 'Fail to plan, plan to fail' or similar words!
I've said this before—it's always easier to reach the goal if you have a plan to follow. If you're deviating, there is a guide that will get you back on track and make sure you achieve the intended end result - like a set of runway lights.
It's the same with planning social media posts, blogs, budgets, train trips or anything else pretty much, without a plan you are unlikely to reach the goal.
I am a systems person and for the longest time, my plans were in my head. It wasn't that I didn't have them, I just didn't write them down because then someone else could hold me accountable! Oohhh nooo there's that accountability thing!
Working through my first 12 Week Year, the value of the written plan with specific actions to take to reach the desired goal, is becoming ever clearer.
I am creating a written plan for my social media posting, blog writing and newsletters which will be my guideline to getting these done on a regular basis!
To help others on this journey, I'd like to gift you my 2024 IG OrganiSZer Annual Planner.
Unlike most of the social media planners I've seen, which normally have 1 page to write your ideas for the month and then you have to duplicate it for the other 12 months, the IG OrganiSZer Annual Planner is a spreadsheet.
Each month on its own sheet, showing all the dates and days of the week in a calendar layout, with sufficient space to plan ideas for posts showing them on the day you want to post them. It also shows public holidays and other special days that could inspire social media posts.
There is a colour coding legend which makes it easy to see at a glance, what you're posting about. You can customise to suite.
