How to Create Sucking And Blowing Effect Using Scretch Plugin in After Effects
In this video, I make a tutorial on how to create a sucking and blowing effect, using the Stretch Plugin that I have just installed in After Effects. In this project, I have inserted several images. I will add an effect to this genie image. The first step is to pre-compose.
In the Pre-Compose settings window, select Move All Attributes. Activate the Pen tool. After that, create 2 Line Masks separately. If you have created 2 line masks, add the Stretch effect. In the Stretch effect settings, use Mask 1 in the Mask 1 option. And Mask 2 in the Mask 2 option.
And now, we can set the strecht of Stretch Factor. To see the strecht area, enable Preview Wireframe. If there are still unwanted areas, increase the Across Base Points value.
To animate the Stretch effect, activate the Stretch Factor keyfreme. Then create a new keyframe in the next few frames. Because at the beginning I want to make the genie image appear, I change the value to 100% in the initial keyframe.
To make the image slightly faded at the bottom, set the curve on Opacity Along Ramp. For maximum results, you can duplicate the Stretch Effect into two, to activate the Strips option. But here I will add it to this part of the effect only.
Open the Strips option. Then check the Strips Enable section. Set the Strips Count and Strips Random Seed values as needed. If you found such a problem after the Strips option is enabled, then increase the Stretch Factor value again. And now I just need to copy the keyframes for the ending part.
