How to Test Micro SD Speed on Android Smartphone
If you want to know how fast the write and read speed of your Micro SD is, you can use an application like I used in this video. I just bought a Lexus Blue Series Micro SD card with a capacity of 64 gigabytes.
To find out how the speed of this Micro SD, I used the SD Card Test Pro app. You can download it for a relatively cheap price. If it has been downloaded, open the SD Card Test Pro app. This is the initial interface when the new application is run.
On the smartphone I used, the Removeable SD Card with a total storage capacity of 63.25 Gigabytes was automatically detected. Before testing, make sure the Removable SD Card was selected. Then select Start to perform the test. Just wait until the testing process is successful. The Write speed test may take a few minutes.
After waiting for 187 seconds, I can see the results of the Write speed test by going to the Result view. On the SD Card that I use, it has an average write speed result of around 43 Megabytes per second. And now I want to test the Read speed.
Read speed testing can only be run, if you have done Write speed testing. For the checking steps, you only need to select the Read section, and select Start. Wait a few minutes for the process to finish. After waiting for 91 seconds, I got the results.
The average speed of this SD Card when reading files is around 88 Megabytes per second. That's how to speed test an SD Card on an Android smartphone. Thanks for watching. And see you in other tutorials.
