The Kestrels featured Roger Greenaway, Tony Burrows, Roger Maggs and Geoff Williams. When Tony left in early 1965, Roger Cook joined for a few months before they split. In the mid 1950’s they originally started performing as The HiFi’s and The Beltones before their manager Arthur Parkman noticed the pencil he was using had the name of Kestrels printed on. They also recorded under The Four Kestrels on 2 songs with Billy Fury. Plus releases with Benny Hill and The Viscounts.
