Footnote:
This is The Drifters featuring the unmistakable voice of Johnny Moore performing “Another Lonely Weekend”. Song composed by Roger Greenaway and Tony Macaulay. Song also produced by Greenaway, with musical arrangements from Uncle Lew Warburton. Recorded in London at the Nova Sound Studios, and a track for their Arista album “Every Nite's A Saturday Night”, that was released way back in 1976. In total Roger Greenaway has produced at least 63 different songs for The Drifters. Amazing achievement.
Something different for a change. Instead of hearing the same hits over and over again, I have dug out 3 thousand related songs to Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway. All are NON HITS!
I will be playing one song a day. It looks like I'll be finished in around 9 years time!
All songs are somehow related to Cook & Greenaway. Written, produced, performed, back vocal, Record label, Publishing. ENJOY!
Useless information composed by John Holman. Chronology researcher for Roger Cook, Tony Hiller and Barry Mason.
