This is Blue Mink performing something completely different, a song composed by their new keyboard/organ player Ann Odell titled “Non Commercial Blues”. Ann also shares vocal on this track with Roger Cook and Madeline Bell, with band members Barry Morgan, Alan Parker, Ray Cooper, Herbie Flowers, and produced by the talented David Mackay. Recorded at Mink’s, Barry Morgan Studios in Harlesden, North London and released on their Fruity album via EMI Records back in 1974. Sadly this happened to be their final album together. BUT not their last release!
Something different for a change. Instead of hearing the same hits over and over again, I have dug out 3 thousand related songs to Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway. All are NON HITS!
