This is George Hamilton IV performing the Don Williams minor Country hit “Only Love”. Composed by Roger Cook, John Prine and Sandy Mason. Song is from George’s album “Waiting For The Sun To Shine”. Also found on the album “I Believe In You” another composed song by Roger Cook, that went to the top of the Country charts for Don Williams. Both songs cut by George back in 1982, however they didn’t see light of day until the digital album release in 2013. The song “Only Love” has been covered by many artists including, Johnny Cash, Sandy Mason, Maura O’Connell, Jesse James Boys, Karen Knowles, Garrison Brothers and more.
