Minsk City Zoo - is one of the largest zoos in Belarus (according to some characteristics it is second only to the zoo in Grodno, according to other characteristics it is the leader). Minsk Zoo is the most visited zoo in the country. More than a million people visit the Minsk Zoo annually. The zoo is located in the southeastern part of Minsk near the Svisloch River. In addition to the classic enclosures, the Minsk Zoo includes a terrarium, a dolphinarium, an aquarium and a pavilion of the fauna of South America. The collection of the zoo includes not only animals typical for Belarus, but also rare representatives of the fauna of Belarus, as well as many exotic animals from all over the world.
