This video goes over my top 3 beginner kettlebell exercises for a stronger low back!

In this video, I'll be sharing my top three kettlebell exercises for a stronger low back. These exercises are specifically targeted to strengthen your low back muscles.

As a practicing sports chiropractor, I regularly teach these kettlebell exercises to patients who are recovering from low back pain so they can become more resilient and have less low back pain in the future!

The exercises for building a stronger low back are:

Kettlebell Swing:
The kettlebell swing is a dynamic exercise that targets your posterior chain, including your glutes, hamstrings, and lower back. It involves a powerful hip hinge movement that engages and strengthens your low back muscles.

Goblet Squat:
The goblet squat is a versatile exercise that not only strengthens your legs and core but also engages your low back muscles. Holding a kettlebell close to your chest, you'll perform a deep squat, activating multiple muscle groups simultaneously.
If you're not familiar with squatting we'll also go over a box squat variation as well as a goblet squat with a heartbeat to help strengthen your low back and core.

Single Leg Deadlift:
The single leg deadlift is an excellent exercise for targeting your hamstrings, glutes, and, of course, building a stronger low back. By performing a controlled forward hip hinge motion while balancing on one leg, you'll challenge your stability and strengthen the muscles responsible for maintaining a strong and stable low back.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced lifter, incorporating these three kettlebell exercises into your routine will help you develop a stronger and more resilient low back. Remember, it's crucial to start with lighter weights and focus on proper form before progressing to heavier loads. Building a stronger low back can significantly enhance your overall fitness and well-being.
