Ray Hayden introduces you to this easy to set up and use screencasting software.
I was looking for a Windows 7 solution for creating screencasts for a very specific reason. In my searches, I was having no luck, until I decided to look for "open source" screencasting solutions.
Normally, I use Linux and "recordmydesktop" for my screen casting - and many of my videos have been created with that solution.
However, when trying to create a specific video with Google Earth, I was having a very difficult time of it. The fix to the problem may be forthcoming, but Open Broadcaster allowed me to get the job done quickly and easily.
I am going to make another video about this as well, because I still had to use my Linux video editor of choice, KDENLive, to actually fully create this video - and the YouTube Editor to put it all together!
I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor ( / editor )
