Thermocouple is a temperature sensor used to figure out How hot or cold something is,
Construction: It consists of two dissimilar metal wires that are joined together to form a junction.
Working: When the temperature (Heating or Cooling) at the junction changes a small measurable voltage will generate at the other ends of the wires. The amount of voltage produced will depends on the amount of temperature at the junction.
Checking of Thermocouple: Sensors like thermocouples produces small voltages in terms of DC millivolts in an electric circuit, We can measure these millivolts with a digital multimeter.
