Pink Floyd - Mother (Full Cover)
This Mother's Day weekend, I post my full cover of Pink Floyd's "Mother" from their eleventh studio album, The Wall.
I originally started this song years ago, but hated the way it was sounding. I opened the project again while sorting through some old files and decided to give it another go. In the process, I replaced every track except for the Nashville tuned guitars that help out on the twinkling parts during the "ooooh babe". I kept those tracks because I no longer have a guitar stung in Nashville tuning.
Not shown in the video is the Nashville tuned part, the second acoustic guitar that come in at the second verse, and the bass. And of course, the organ, drums, and piano are software synths, so they are not shown. There's also a third harmony part that I didn't capture on video.
The acoustic guitars are basically straight in, with just some EQ. The bass and lead guitar run through Native Instruments Guitar Rig Pro 4. The organ is Bojo Software's Organ One and the piano is KVM Grand Piano. The drums are yet again, Addictive Drums.
