MIDI Drum Demo
This is a little demonstration of working with an electronic drum kit and recording the MIDI data so that it can be edited and replayed through various virtual instruments.
The part was played my son on an Alesis Surge mesh-head electronic drum kit. The recorded MIDI data is played back through Native Instruments Abby Road 70s Drums and Addictive Drums.
Since I moved into a townhouse, recording acoustic drums would not be kind to my neighbors, so exploring this option is going to open endless possibilities.
