The topic for todays video is should the Philadelphia Eagles trade down in the 2017 NFL Draft? This is an interesting topic of discussion going on right now that I thought would be fun to talk about. Personally I would be happy either way but if I had to pick a side I would say that I am more in favor of trading back in the draft. That way we can fill other positions of need or gain some depth at other positions. I think the Eagles taking Corey Davis would be great but with the signing of Alshon Jeffery it definetly lowers our need at the Wide Receiver position. Still though players like Corey Davis or Mike Williams are going to be receivers that we can develop and keep for years, in case Alshon Jeffery doesn't work out with the Eagles.

I just really think the Eagles need to focus on the defensive side rather than trying to make a stronger offensive unit. Obviously we need help at the Cornerback position because we lost our two starters when the Eagles released Leodis McKelvin and Nollan Carrol signed with the Dallas Cowboys. That leaves the Eagles with their only remaining starting corner Jalen Mills. While Jalen Mills is very talented I don't see him being a true number 1 Cornerback, I think he is a solid Cornerback 2 which means we need to sign a free agent or draft. With the Eagles being over the cap, so Free Agency is off the table. So we need to draft and unfortuinatly Sidney Jones the guy we had as a lock ended up rupturing his Achilles. That leaves us with options like Teez Tabor, Fabien Moreau, and Gareon Conley. While these are all great players they don't have 14th overall pick value. When it comes to that 14th overall pick I think it would be better for the Eagles to take someone who has that value rather than reaching to fill the position.
