Two Quick G1000 Tips - Setting the Table & Hidden Shortcut - How to add a waypoint/edit flight plan
Try the shortcut menu next time you are using the G1000:
1) Go to any waypoint entry field with the cursor on
2) Turn the small FMS knob one click to the left to open the shortcut menu
3) Turn the small FMS knob to the right to switch between the different shortcut menus
4) Turn the large FMS knob to move the cursor down to the desired waypoint
5) Press the enter key to select a waypoint
