Out of all of the Don the Beachcomber cocktails this is the most unusual because it uses sarsaparilla. The original Caribbean Punch is an interesting cocktail, but not quite right. The Tropical Standard version, the Languid Belle, takes things to another level with homemade Sarsparilla syrup to make an equally unique and original drink but one that works. It's one of my favorite cocktails of all time.
