Also known as the Rocky Mountain Goat.
This skillful hoofed mammal is well known for its ability to climb rocky cliffs and mountains.
Despite being called a goat, the mountain goat belongs to the same family that includes antelopes and gazelles.
The goat has strong muscles in its shoulders and neck to help with climbing steep and treacherous embankments. You can find these animals in high altitude terrain in North America and Alaska.
