THE STRANGEST Obi-Wan line...
I guess assisted living homes exist in Star Wars?
After all my time and watchthroughs of Star Wars I’ve never heard this line by Obi Wan, “Scramble code 5 to Coruscant, care of the old folks home”. I’ve never realized this is what he said until I saw someone post about it with the subtitles. Some people think that Obi-Wan is calling Yoda and Mace old, but I think a far more accurate answer would be that it’s simply some sort of encryption in reference to the Jedi Council. Now, why the Jedi Council felt the need to use encryptions, I’m not sure. The Clone Wars hadn’t begun yet so my best guess is either they were erring on the side of caution, or they were being mindful of the mysterious sith on the loose that they discovered in the Phantom Menace.
Either way, I thought I’d make this video and talk about a line that I had never realized existed and I would bet that that’s the case for most people, let me know if you knew about this line in the comments.
