Why does ABOMINATION look different?

Abomination has been in the MCU for fourteen years now, and the duel in Harlem is one of my favorite Hulk fights. With Emil Blonksy’s return in Shang Chi and She-Hulk, we can’t help but notice that he looks quite different then when we last saw him. There is no official answer for this design change, but there is some speculation out there. Some people say that the gamma cells in Emil’s body simply weren’t done mutating. When we see him in The Incredible Hulk, that is his first form, and he’s evolved into what we see today. The same could be said for Bruce Banner, although, his change is less drastic.
