The endgame is finally coming into view, and this episode pushes us deeper into the Industrial Revolution than ever before. Factories multiply, robot workers replace humans, pollution threatens to spiral, and the nuclear grid expands into a sprawling lattice of high-voltage lines. For the first time, uranium mines and nuclear plants form a self-sustaining loop, powering massive late-game structures.
But everything changes when the particle collider comes online.
We press the glowing red button and watch the first quantum matter spill out, unstable, dangerous, and clearly meant for something far bigger. That “something” arrives moments later:
the Unknown Machine.
A towering device requiring terrifying amounts of power, multiple geniuses, and a charge cycle so large that the game warns us outright. It hums, it sparks, and it demands a second nuclear plant just to begin functioning.
Meanwhile, goblin raids, earthquake damage, and resource bottlenecks keep the pressure on. We scramble to patch the grid, expand smelting operations, rebuild recycling centers, triple our robot workforce, and secure enough science and factory parts to keep pushing forward.
By the end of the episode, the Unknown Machine is standing, dormant, massive, and waiting to activate. The next step is going to change everything… if it doesn’t destroy the city first.

About Stacklands:
Stacklands is a village-building card game where you stack cards to grow food, build structures, and fight creatures. Manage villagers, discover recipes, and expand your settlement—all while racing against time and hunger. Every moon brings new challenges, and one mistake can collapse your whole stack.
