I absolutely love the dark academia style that is becoming so popular right now. Other than dark moody rooms with lots of books I notice a lot of brass items. The brass has a vintage patina that just looks so lovely against a dark color or green.
In this video, I show you how I have learned to mimic that vintage brass look with thrift stores or everyday items you probably have in your home. Spray paint is such an affordable way to change any of your decor items. My best solution for the texture of the look is to use hammered spray paints. They come in a variety of colors and finishes. The hardest part of doing this look with spray paint is waiting for a pretty non-windy day ;)
