Will a 40% off retail booth work? Selling my vintage hubcap collection but not the nude ones ;)
Turning a little shelf area into a 40% off booth is working!! I have sold quite a few items out of this spot already. Typically I have items in the space with a special stamp indicating 40% off but it seems people never see them. These items have been around for a long time and may be overpriced so marking them done gets them out of my way. I am not losing any money, simply recovering my small investment.
The shelf I chose has a great location that grabs a shopper before they funnel into the back area and it seems to be working. I sold a larger more expensive item just today!
PS What did you think of my vintage nude hubcaps? These were actually popular back when cars had wheel skirts. Think the '50s, when the front wheels were covered with what appears like a piece of the fender. The back wheels would have had the nudie on each rear tire.
