What to do with Avon? Transforming vintage Avon figurines into something current - Keep or sell?
Have you seen the folks altering precious moments figurines? OMG! There are some super creative people out there doing art on items that most people are just OVER. I know in the shop I work in, the precious moments are having a reoccurrence at the moment, simply because so many people are buying them up and transforming them into something completely different.
They are also selling for even MORE than when they were originally for sale back in the '80s and '90s.
Well.... I thought I'd like to jump on the bandwagon and give this "altering" a shot.
Thing is, I found some vintage Avon figurines that I thought would be perfect to alter. These ladies came through the shop and I got a bargain on them and this is the video about what I did to transform them.
Also, my daughters make an appearance during this months-long process.
