Don’t Forget, Chickens Love Leftovers
If you raise chickens, don’t forget your feathered friends when you’re cleaning out the refrigerator. All of my old leftovers go to my chickens. In a perfect world there would be no wasted food, but having chickens remedies this at our home. Any of our old food leftovers and veggie clippings all go to my chickens and in turn they bless us with delicious eggs and wonderful garden fertilizer. It’s a win-win.
