She is sharing the following message in American Sign Language:
Hello. Just a quick update about my mom. About two weeks ago she contracted Covid. The home called to inform me and said she had to stay in her room. All I could think was, “Nooooo...” And it hit me pretty hard. Because I felt grief with the thought of her lying there in bed, alone in her room. Then I realized that I cannot suffer due to her circumstances. I just can’t. I had to just take a breath and accept reality. They weren’t forcing her to stay in her room, but was important for them to encourage her to stay in her room. I saw her recently and she looked good. She didn’t appear to be sick. She seems to be recovered now. Covid wasn’t really bad for her. I believe it was the second time she contracted Covid. Maybe even her third time? My mom is a tough nut. She’s a survivor. So she’s doing good. Thanks for your never ending support.
