I have a little dream. Imagine…In the world…the topic of accessible care is an important and necessary topic to discuss, without a doubt, we need to talk about access. And…we must talk about direct care services as well. If each state had established programs, whether they be partnerships with hearing programs or designated programs established in their own space. A space where comprehensive services are readily available. A space where there are deaf staff, deaf doctors, deaf nurses, deaf neurologists, deaf specialists, etc. you name it, they have it. Direct services at your fingertips. Imagine. Imagine that world. Imagine if this could happen in each state…can you imagine? I can. We can do better.
